Forgiving the Beast - Penelope Rivers A majority of this book was a pretty decent read albeit predictable. As I got closer to the ending the story just got a bit nonsensical. When Asher has the showdown with the werewolf that murdered his parents he got attacked and received substantial injures (supposedly he had a broken rib (or arm or something...I think) and several scratch marks) but after he kills the werewolf his injuries seem to miraculously heal by themselves. He doesn't have to go to the hospital or anything but Jax who is a werewolf has to go to a hospital for his wounds? It just didn't make sense to me. How did he heal so fast when he wasn't a shifter? and Why did Jax who was a shifter who 'supposedly heals fast' have to stay at the hospital?
