Travarius, heir of the Thespeia kingdom finds himself in dire circumstances when Xanthor, a guest of the kingdom murders his father during the night and is then taken captive. He escapes before Xanthor can force himself on him and finds himself being pursued while trying to find sanctuary with Anteros, the legendary wizard. Upon finding safety with Anteros, Travarius finds himself pushed into making a bargain with Anteros to be his consort.

There were a few parts where I wanted to roll my eyes but didn't. It was an entertaining easy read.
