Really blurb says it all. Adam takes off after kissing Jake. Leaving Jake with a broken heart and Kyle and Brendan to be the support Jake needs. Five years later, at their baseball coaches wake, Adam makes an appearance and worms his way back into Jake's life.

There was a lot of back and forth in this book with the amount of issues Adam still had hangups on. It was borderline frustrating for me to read the problems that cropped up between Adam and Jake. I really felt for Jake since Adam was pretty closeted even when he was an out gay man. In a way I could also see Adam's POV. The author did a great job conveying the turmoil each had and what they had to lose if they didn't come to terms with it. The supporting characters were very likable.
