I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
This book focuses on Spencer and Dylan, whom both showed up in the previous book as secondary characters to help Steve and Joey with their plans to take down Topher. This book resume where the previous left off with Dylan shot and on his way to the hospital.
I actually don't have much to say except that it was an entertaining read. I liked seeing the relationship development between Spencer and Dylan. They were a bit like insecure teenagers crushing on each other while allowing readers to see the insecurities they both were going through. The new characters were interesting and I kind of want to hear more about Andre.
I have to admit I wanted a bit more action in this considering Dylan is still working for the DeMonaco family after Topher is gone and Andre is living with him.
There was one or two things I found disconcerting in the book.
The nurse acting as a doctor was a bit scary. I'm pretty sure nurses shouldn't be able to write a script since they themseleves aren't doctors. I actually had to look it up only to see that those who do write scripts are putting their own license at risk...(from forum for RNs) unless they are RNP.
