3.5 starsI haven't read many stories that involve phoenixes but this one was interesting. It was fun getting to know Michael and discovery what was new through his eyes was interesting. The ending was nice although I though Bren was a doofus for ignoring Michael's warning and falling into the nest. I disliked their mother for obvious reasons. Avery was a cool character to read about and I feel bad that her husband was cheating ass.
