It's a bit of a typical modern day beauty and the beast scenario but still the authors take on it were entertaining to read. Not really many ways to change the story but these authors tried. Ara is a arrogant good looking guy. He believes himself above average which is typical of rich good looking guys with the best money can buy. The only thing that changes that is his horrid accident that disfigured him. So he becomes a bit of a recluse and won't leave his home because he's no good looking and doesn't want the media on his tail, etc. In comes Ilias, a farm boy who was the first to get a college education in his family, whose trying to find a job in the city to escape living under his father's rules. He's hired on as Ara's assistant and there begins the challenge between the two.
Ilias was a awesome kid, not naive but sweet and he had his eyes open even though he was a bit introvert. Ara was a jerk but with good reason. I like that they both were kind of getting to know the world better and taking little steps to being more open. It was fun watching the changes occurring between the two due to their association with each other.
It was a little sappy and cliche towards the end but it was sweet.
