He story was intriguing as was the world development. The set up of different factions: scholar, mage, tamers, etc was interesting. Aedeans sacrifice was noteworthy and it was saddening that Drake wouldn't have Aedean there physically. The sacrifice Aedean made was very noble and kind of romantic.
