Milky Coffee and Office Gossip

Milky Coffee and Office Gossip - Liza Kay 3.5 stars

Corey is relentlessly gossip es about at work by these two hags whom stand directly outside his cracked open door to talk about an awful incident he regrets. Matters only get worst though when he runs into the lawyer enlisted by the company he works for and spills cold coffee all over the guy. Remy, is a bit of a playboy, when he has a run in with Corey can't help think that Corey will be a nice distraction from a case he has no interest in. After a date and a week seeing each other the two know they like each other but Remy is unable to fully commit out of fear. After a month of seeing each other and nothing to really show for it. Corey can't help but overhear some gossip concerning Remy and him. This spurs Corey to break up with Remy whom at that point had a grand gesture planned to show Corey how he felt.

Subtitles every chapter I felt was unneeded and spoiled the anticipation of what would happen chapter to chapter. I mean the blurb itself is pretty much a spoiler for the book so the chapter subtitling was kind of pointless for me. The love letters and presents were a cute gesture. Corey's last comment to Remy was a very nice touch and Remy sputtering kind of made me laugh. At the start the lack of romance and lust to love feeling just wasn't working for me but with the onslaught of Remy's wooing it all worked out.
