An ARC was provided to me in exchange for an honest review.

It took me a few chapters to really get into the book. But once it hooked me I was in for the long haul. I really liked that this wasn't an insta-love story. There was a good amount of relationship building between Wesley and Noah. It was fun to see them flounder around a bit while trying to navigate work and starting a fling (which was what they thought they wanted anyway). I liked that Wesley not being in contact with others of his species was cautious about his secret. That Noah was so accommodating for the situation he was kind of thrust into.

I liked the take the author took with the mpreg and the differentiation dragons and dragon shifters. The discrimination some shifters had against humans was interesting to see.

I think the only issue I had was with the first time Wesley and Noah got intimate. There wasn't much prep on Wesley's part and the thought of saliva to help guide the way made me squirm a little.
