Readers are introduced to Wade as he is falling out of a tree and breaks his arm. Unable to drive himself, his mother, Lorraine, whom suffers from Ménière’s disease, has to drive him. He gets bounced around medical facility to medical facility until he gets sent home with instructions to contact his medical doctor and medication. Knowing he can't have his mother help him and also needing help for her. He calls the Home Care Assistant he has on retainer for his mom for help. It's through the service that he meets Joe, one of the owners of the company.

I enjoyed reading this story and really wished it had been longer. Getting to know Wade and seeing him being bounced around before he got help for his broken arm just pulled at my heart. When he met Joe and they ended up getting along so quickly it was like seeing the sun rise. The sight was spectacular and just reading about their insecurities and their feelings made me happy. I hope we get to see them again.
