When parvenu Logan Carter is a good businessman and when the app his business partner/boyfriend run together takes off he decides to surprise his lover and ends up getting a nasty little surprise of his own. Seven years later Logan is a changed man. He’s closed off and doesn’t do love or relationships, he doesn’t mix business with pleasure and would rather stick to one night stands.
Trevor Rogers is a tailor at an upscale department store. He’s charismatic and lively, the opposite of Logan. He also happens to be Logan’s preferred tailor when he’s in the city. Trevor’s intrigued by Logan and maybe a little attracted to the guy. He just knows that there’s a loving human being under that tough hard exterior. When Logan propositions Trevor about PR work, Trevor can’t help but jump at the chance.
Logan and Trevor are a perfect match for each other. They really balanced each other out really well and I loved seeing them together and flirting and bringing out the playfulness. The whole book had my heart all in a flutter and a tad bit anxious. Logan wasn’t exactly the easiest character but I still liked him to bits and could understand his grouchy off putting behavior. Trevor being his opposite was warm, bubbly and sweet. It was easy to see why Logan was drawn to him like a moth to a flame.
I loved seeing the relationship build, Logan and Trevor trying to convince themselves their budding relationship was one of business and not love and how they handled it.
