Kayle is a well known artist and returns to his hometown after he finds his latest boyfriend cheating on him. On his return he has a run-in with his ex highschool boyfriend, Asher. Asher tries to reconnect but Kayle isn't having any of it. Past hurts aren't easily forgotten and Kyle rebuffs Asher at every turn. But Asher isn't one to just take it and do as asked. Asher is a changed man from the person he was in high school and Kayle will find out just how determined he is.

I liked this story. I thought it was cute but it felt a bit too put together and everything just fell together to quickly and easily. Learning Kayle and Asher's association to each other and what the issue was between them was intriguing. I liked that Asher was dogged towards making everything right with Kayle. I didn't really like a couple of the ways he went about it but that's just me.
