I think I might have been in the wrong mindset when I was reading this. For the first half I found it slow and quite frustrating. Ian was away, then he was back and nothing between him and Miro seemed to be going right. The moments Ian wasn't there was pretty angsty and depression. Miro came off as needy and I just wasn't feeling it. I had my issues with Ian too. I was just annoyed about what was happening with them. Don't get me wrong, I do still love them. I just wanted them to be less immature and more compromising.
The second half of the book I enjoyed immensely. Getting to see Miro and Ian actually work out the kinks in their relationship. I liked seeing the interaction with Miro and his band of friends/family. The action/showdown was eye opening and got my blood pumping. Barrett and Hartley and what arose was very unexpected and a just a tad humorous. I wish there had been more.
