A tough book to get through since it's quite grief ridden and the pacing can be steady and/or slow at times but totally worth it if you stick it out. I seriously thought my eyes would be puffy for a few days the way I as sniveling from Benji's grief and the tough situations Benji and the gang was subjected to. Finding out who the boss responsible for Big Eddie's death was so surprising/shocking.
I actually enjoyed the way it was written and the author certainly has a way with words. T.J. Klune is steadily becoming one of my favorite authors with the way he writes and is able to transcribe the emotional state of each character.
