The blurb really is the starting point and should be read to get the gist of where the story is starting off from. Kody lives in Alaska and has plans to trap his mate to be, to extract the truth of why Jackson decided to leave him seven years ago. He also hopes that their reunion will result in their mating that should have taken place seven years before.

Jackson thinks he's tasked with a very important task by the counsel and flies to Alaska to retrieve said package, even though he is so close to hitting his heat. When he arrives he sees an old face he has seen since he parted with Kody. Pat (Kody's brother) is there to drive Jackson to the package. When Jackson is dropped off he doesn't realize what's in store for him until he sets foot inside a cabin, Kody's cabin, with the door locked and a force field is erected.

Quite a fun read in the start. I liked Kody's cleverness in setting a trap to confront Jackson and finally push for what should have happened several years ago. I thought it was cute that he would go so far and Jackson's desperation once he realized what happened was kind of...well... pretty hilarious. What conspires after that wasn't really a surprise and was still an enjoyable progression in the story to see. I enjoyed learning about the two characters and how they dealt with being each other lives again.
