Greg Marsh CEO to Turbo Metro Drilling (TMD) has come across a situation with protesters on his first European project.

Alexander Petrou is an archaeologist trying to preserve the history of the city he lives in.

They clash because they have different objectives concerning the drilling of the tunnel in for the city in Greece. Alexander manages to make an impression on Greg with how important the tunnels Greg’s company is tunneling through are by sharing some of the city’s history with him. This changes Greg’s outlook on the project a little but he knows he’s also has to carry out his job.

Like some of the authors other works, this story was slow building. I stuck it out until it got to the more sensual parts and I quite enjoyed it. I’ve always liked characters who came off as good guys and Greg and Alex, both are that even if their actions sometimes seemed not to be. Alex passion for his city was heartening and he really sold me.
