Chris and Gabriel's story.

Chris runs the grocery store in Nortown and is the flirty charming guy readers have encountered in the previous books in the series. Gabriel has been placed in witness protection. He's a pretty quiet guy with self-image issues and he doesn't know the first thing about living in cabin with limited utilities. When the two encounter each other Chris's friendly persona practically has Gabriel running to the safety of the cold lonely cabin he's been stuck in.

I enjoyed the read.Chris was a really sweet guy and I liked that he was willing to check up on Gabriel, who was stuck in his families cabin on the outskirt of town. It was really sweet of him to try to make Gabriel comfortable and took care not to spook him. Gabriel, himself was a little too docile for me but I liked that he was so cautious. His fear, paranoia and thoughtlessness to his safety was advertised well throughout the read. I'm glad that Chris was there too look out for him since it wasn't something Gabriel did well on his own.

I was very curious about Andre and Ash and I hope they'll be the next couple featured in the next installment of the series.
