Another installment in the At Last series. It was just as good as the previous books in the series. I liked that the story is taking place just as Book 2 is happening.
Shane and Brandon had great chemistry and I loved seeing their friendship heat up and become something more. The idea of Brandon waiting for Shane and pining for him for ten years was very romantic but not overly sweet There was a good balance in the book and nothing too over dramatic.
I enjoyed getting to know the people in Shane and Brandon's lives and really getting how unhinged Shane's ex was. Readers do get a taste of Peter in Be Mine (Book 2) but this book drove it home. I did question why Shane didn't just get rid of his phone and stop carrying it with him but ignoring that fact the story was spectacular.
I do hope that the author decides to address Gabe and Jake's friendly relationship in their own book. They really gave off a chemistry charged playful acquaintance.
An ARC was provided to me in exchange for an honest review.
