The book consists of three stories. The first two pick up from where Deadly Sugar left off and the third is the continuation of Amy Spector's Cold Fingers. I highly recommend that Buried Desires be read before reading this collection.

Deadly Secrets: Takes place five years after the events in Deadly Sugar. Josh and Jett have been living comfortably in their home with their son Sam. Everything is going great until Josh decides to check out the root cellar while Jett is away at work. Josh finds himself in quite the dilemma when Jett catches him in the act.

Deadly Lies: Josh knows he has to do something to save his son and himself from Jett. But first he has to figure out how to get out of the situation he finds himself in.

Body of Work: Christopher is still coming to terms with the changes of his body after being brought back. Vic isn't around much and well the relationship between him and Lee isn't as comfortable as it use to be. Also Lee seems to be make a bit of a comeback with the remake of one of his earlier works. Lee loves the attention but not attention love him.

There's no way to summarize what is happening in all three stories without giving away everything that happens. They're all quick reads with a good splash of chill. The story literally breezes by because it's such a great read. If you've read the first anthology/collection than you should be prepared for the great twist each story. The authors certainly knows what they're doing. I was on the edge of my seat for the entirety of each story for a variety of reasons.There were some terrifying consequences present in all three stories and I highly recommend it. It's a great treat for Halloween if you're looking for something spooky and chilling to read.
