3.5 starsI liked the build up in the story and that readers got to gt to know the Sam, Joshua and Joshua's family. We get to see the relation between all the characters and the animals.
I didn't like how the POV would change from Sam to Joshua and vice versa without warning. It actually threw me off since I wasn't sure whose POV I would get chapter to chapter until I started the chapter or if the chapter would switch from Sam to Joshua mid-chapter.
