Great start to a series.
Nicholas Ignazio, is the son of a mob boss and enjoys inflicting pain. He is a sadist. It shows in his behavior towards other people, especially those who don't pay their debt.
Nicholas desires his manservant, Mr.Penn. He doesn't even try to hide his feelings, going as far as masturbating in front of him whenever he feels the need. Nicholas can't help but to tease, bully, conjole and play with Mr.Penn to get what he wants.
This is a short story but sets up the characters, Nicholas and Mr. Penn's relationship, their regards and interaction between each other. The POV solely focuses on Nicholas so readers only gets his thoughts on his feeling towards Mr. Penn. While it is injected that Mr. Penn feels discomfort from his master's attention, this is all made known from what Nicholas observes.
I thought this was a great start to the series and I'm intrigued to find out more about Nicholas and Mr. Penn and how far their relationship might progress. I would also like to see things from Mr. Penn's perspective.
