There wasn't a thing I didn't like about this book. Kevin finally gets his own story and when he meets Matty (Cam's closest hockey friend) the sparks fly. But the two don't jump in the sack instead they both start off as friend. Their feelings towards each other are so subtle that neither are exactly sure that the other is open to starting something. Constantly being around each other, the two can't help but progress their friendship to something more.

I loved that throughout the whole story readers could feel that simmer of chemistry between the two. It was wonderful to witness Kevin and Matty get to know each other. When the kiss happens it was noteworthy to mention how the two kept their cool when on the inside they were freaking out.

It was interesting how the author tried to bring awareness of how ones sexual orientation could affect a players hockey career and the acceptance that players could find even if they were to come out/be outed.

Hans was pretty much a jerk but it was pretty easy to maintain detachment from he wasn't very focused on. I really look forward to reading Ryan's story when it becomes available.
