My first book by this author. Joel Holloway is an aspiring actor that just got casted for a film. He's out celebrating with friends when he has a run in with Derrick Cross, a drummer for the band The Saints. Joel has always believed himself to be straight, so he find it odd but not put off by it, when he meets and feels attracted to Derrick. Joel wants to explore the feeling even if he might fear the repercussions.

I thought the story was slow and the writing a bit rigid. It didn't come off as very fluid and natural. I actually never built an attachment to Joel or Derrick and I didn't really care if everything worked out for them. The story was fine but I just wasn't that into it.
