Not a particularly satisfying read for me this time around. Anton didn't exactly come off as a strong character and Zac was really immature. He was written in a pretty bad light with how he showed his distaste/disdain for his hometown. He was written as the type of character who was expressive with his feelings and so put everyone else down when he didn't like something.

I remember thinking while I was reading that I hoped the two would split up/not bother with each other and just be happier apart than together with how the two of them were acting. I was kind of annoyed with them. I didn't really care for Zac's situation and how he felt sorry for himself and his selfishness. The saving grace for me was the focus on the animals that Anton came in contact with.
