Carved In Flesh - Angelia Sparrow, Blaine D. Arden, Kaje Harper, Kristen Pavka, Logan Zachary, M.A. Church, Naomi Brooks, S.L. Armstrong, T.C. Mill Oren's Right An intriguing fun read. I wanted to learn more about the world the author created. The relationship development between Oren and Vlad had me wanting to rush through the story as quick as I could read just so I could see how they got over their hang ups.

Tiocfaidh Ár Lá I couldn't get a good enough imagery of the world the author was building in this story. The author description of the Ryan's face kept conflicting with the world that I was trying to build in my head so I was kind of stuck trying to grasp the setup (Not to confuse others but what I mean is I know that Joe came from Ireland to the U.S. but I kept thinking there was something otherworldly going on because Ryan was described as having an elven face?(not too sure about it)). All in all, I just couldn't appreciate the characters or the storyline.

Faded Love I liked this one quite a bit and thought it was sweet. It is a bit of a cliche story but still enjoyable. For those of you who have read Beholding Beauty by Sam Singer you may enjoy this one too.

Scar Therapy Liked this one quite a bit too. The relationship development was well paced and both MC's were likable. I did find it a bit odd how Tim was just in Larry's hot tub after the evening of their last session together (how did he get in? how did he find out where Larry lived?)

Gift of the Goddess I always did love a story with a self-sacrificing/selfless act theme. This one takes the cake with Nyle doing absolutely anything and everything to get Garvin back after he's abducted.

Sojourn Home This one involves a bit of blood play and and open marriage (although it's a bit one sided). I'm not really a big fan of polyamory or pologamy (I do read them though since I never know if something will change my mind or I'll grow into it) so I was a bit conflicted with this story. I felt horrible for Mirin because he just stayed at home waiting for Kanovan, whereas Kanovan had lovers on other planets. But they both knew and agreed their marriage wouldn't be an exclusive one. But when Mirin found the mark left by one of Kanovan's many lovers it just felt like Mirin was blindsided with the news that Kanovan decided not to even try to be just devoted to Mirin, like he was to Kanovan. I think I would have felt less conflicted if Mirin had had some lovers too.
